  • Full-time Integrity Veterinary Center is excited to expand our team with the addition of Surgical Veterinary Technicians for our newly developed Surgery Department.
We are a privately owned specialty, emergency and urgent care hospital offering advanced care in internal medicine, clinical nutrition, oncology, outpatient imaging (ultrasound and CT), complex dental procedures for high-anesthetic-risk patients, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and oncologic surgery. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate or abusive behavior. Ongoing Education & Mentorship Our veterinarians and nursing team are passionate about teaching. We host monthly anesthesia-focused Zoom rounds along with additional sessions covering both advanced clinical topics and professional development skills. Accessible Leadership As an independently operated hospital, decision-makers work side by side with the clinical team. Staff feedback directly influences hospital growth and improvements. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments, including patient history, vital signs, and laboratory diagnostics Perform jugular and peripheral venipuncture Place IV catheters and perform endotracheal intubation Prepare patients for surgery (sterile clipping and preparation) Develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans Monitor anesthesia and troubleshoot equipment as needed Calculate and administer IV fluids, boluses, CRIs, and fluid additives Scrub in to assist during sterile surgical procedures Monitor patients during anesthetic recovery Provide detailed discharge instructions to clients for post-operative care Maintain surgical instruments, including sterilization, pack preparation, and autoclave oversight Communicate effectively with both clients and team members Contribute to an organized, collaborative surgical environment Qualifications Proficiency in IV catheter placement, peripheral and jugular venipuncture, patient restraint, in-house laboratory testing, preparing samples for reference labs, radiograph acquisition, and instrument sterilization Strong analytical thinking and communication skills Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced surgical setting Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to continued growth
Preferred Experience:
