Summary We are seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our team at Shawsheen Animal Hospital. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care to our animal patients while supporting our veterinarians in various medical procedures. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of our furry clients and their owners. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples for accurate diagnosis. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by veterinarians. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and procedures. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures. Ensure a clean and organized work environment by following aseptic techniques. Requirements Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program preferred but not require. Strong knowledge of veterinary critical care and laboratory procedures. Excellent animal handling skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and pet owners.
