Job Description
Small privately owned Animal Hospital seeking enthusiastic, detail oriented Veterinary Technician for busy 5 doctor practice. Candidate must have at least 3+ years experience (CVT preferred). We will consider full or part time. Pay will commensurate with experience. Job includes, but not limited to: assisting doctors with examinations and diagnostic procedures, patient nursing, animal restraint, client communications, maintaining supplies and equipment, maintaining patient records. Requires knowledge of animal behavior and restraint, patient monitoring, reviewing medical records, triage, phlebotomy, digital radiology, performing diagnostic procedures and laboratory testing, use of medical equipment, knowledge of small animal vaccinations/medications, attention to detail, patience, verbal/written communication skills and being a team player.
