• Full-time Overview We are seeking a dedicated Animal Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess a strong knowledge of animal physiology and anatomy. Duties
• Perform daily care tasks for animals including feeding, watering, and cleaning of enclosures
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
• Assist with animal handling and restraint during procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of animal housing areas
• Administer medications as directed by the veterinary team
• Provide enrichment activities for animals to ensure their well-being Qualifications
• Knowledge of aseptic technique in handling animals
• Understanding of animal physiology and anatomy
• Experience in pet care, pet sitting, or pet grooming is beneficial
• Familiarity with equine care is a plus
• Proficiency in animal husbandry practices
• Ability to handle and restrain various types of animals safely
