Job Description
Duties:
- Feeding and watering animals
- Cleaning stalls and maintaining a clean barn environment
- Grooming and exercising horses. Caring for cows, ducks , goats and cats
- Administering medications or treatments to animals as directed by the veterinarian
- Monitoring animal health and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Assisting with general maintenance of the barn and equipment
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a barn or with animals preferred
- Knowledge of horse care and handling techniques
- Familiarity with basic veterinary procedures and medications
- Ability to operate farm equipment such as tractors, mowers, and utility vehicles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
