COPY LINK link Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an Animal Care Tech for our Scientific partner in Arden Hills, MN. $21 Hourly The purpose of the Animal Care Assistant is to provide hands-on care and husbandry support for larger preclinical research animals in a regulated laboratory environment. Must befortable working with animals — animal background is preferred This role involves working with swine, canine, and ovine species. Day & Hours Day shift: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 4-5 day work week, including required Saturday and Sunday coverage Final schedule to be discussed with the Manager during interview Key Responsibilities Responsible for daily maintenance of animal health and husbandry Follow all SOPs and ad to safety andpliance standards Clean and maintain animal housing areas daily Provide daily enrichment including exercise, toys, and social housing Disinfect housing areas weekly, including walls, flooring, and feed bins Feed animals according to departmental SOPs Maintain cleanliness andanization of all laboratory and animal care areas Receive and process department deliveries Immediately report any animal health concerns to Veterinary Staff Document all activities using Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Assist Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians as assigned by management Communicate facility maintenance needs to management Weekend animal care responsibilities required Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds Quality Systems Responsibilities Ensurepliance with all quality requirements Maintain Good Documentation Practices across all daily activities Support a quality-driven, regulated research environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Must befortable working with animals Prior animal care or research animal experience is preferred CVT certification is not required (industry experience is a plus) Additional Information Scrubs and shoes will be provided Weekend availability is required due to animal care responsibilities Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program,muter benefits, Daily Pay, and 401K plan. Pay Details:
