Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Veterinary Technician to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, supporting veterinarians during exams and procedures, educating clients, and assisting in surgical preparation and procedures. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to actively assist in surgery, including anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and recovery care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians with patient exams, diagnostics, and treatments Prepare animals and equipment for surgical procedures Monitor anesthesia before, during, and after surgery Maintain sterile surgical environments and assist during procedures Perform laboratory testing, radiographs, and sample collection Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Monitor hospitalized patients and provide nursing care Educate pet owners on treatment plans, medications, and preventative care Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately Clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical and medical equipment Support front desk or client communication as needed
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
