Veterinary Technician

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The hours will be split between our St. Michael Clinic and our Big Lake Clinic. We offer a 4 day work week with no weekends! In this role, you will provide essential support in the care and treatment of animals, ensuring their health and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care, with a focus on delivering high-quality veterinary services. This position requires a genuine love for animals and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal health and behavior, reporting any changes to the veterinarian. Maintain accurate medical records for each animal. Handle animals safely and humanely during examinations and treatments. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
