Veterinarian Technician for
Victoria Veterinary Hospital:
Job Description:
Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and radiology Monitor anesthesia and provide surgical support Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed Collect and accurately record patient histories and vital signs Provide compassionate, stress-reducing handling of animals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment Educate clients on preventive care, treatment plans, and post-procedure instructions Support inventory management and equipment maintenance
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Veterinarian Technician is required Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting Ability to triage patients and assess urgent medical needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure A love for animals and a commitment to exceptional client care Strong understanding of veterinary pharmacology and medication dosing Commitment to upholding clinic protocols, patient safety, and quality standards
