Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to veterinarians in the care and treatment patients. Your expertise in veterinary medicine, animal handling and client communication will be crucial in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. You will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall success of our veterinary practice. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures Administer medications and treatments Perform diagnostic tests, including blood draws and urinalysis Maintain accurate medical records for all patients Monitor animal vital signs and behavior during procedures Provide proper restraint for animals during examinations and treatments Educate pet owners on care, nutrition, and training techniques Share care of hospitalized regions including cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas Support veterinary critical care by providing immediate attention to emergencies Great communication with team members Great work ethic Experience The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care with experience or knowledge in the following areas: Animal physiology and anatomy knowledge Animal handling and restraint techniques Pet care practices, including dog and cat behavior Familiarity with veterinary critical care protocols If you are passionate about animal health and welfare and have the necessary skills to thrive in a veterinary environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
