Job Description
Cats on Broadway Veterinary Hospital is looking for a self-motivated applicant with a positive attitude as a full-time veterinary technician. This position will mainly involve weekday (Mon-Fri) hours (generally around a 7:30am-6:00pm schedule.) Starting wage is $20.00/hour but may be up to $24.00/hour, depending on amount of experience, education, and certification. Health insurance, retirement savings, bonuses, and paid time off are included. To qualify, an applicant must: Have vet tech qualifications by way of experience or an accredited education (or be currently enrolled in or seeking enrollment with a vet tech program.) Demonstrate positive interpersonal skills in a team environment. Be able to efficiently multitask in a veterinary hospital setting. Be able to lift up to 40 lbs. (such as bags of food, litter, etc.) Love to work with cats, of course! Previous vet tech experience or vet tech education is highly preferred.
