Job Description

NO WEEKENDS!
We work Monday-Friday. Each full time employee works 7:15-6 four days out of the week, with a one hour lunch break each day (=39h/wk). This is a nice work life balance having one week day off and weekends off as well! Position located in Gibsonville, NC (Right outside of Burlington & Elon) We are looking for a full time veterinary technician to add to our growing team!
Job duties include:
Animal restraint Patient and exam intake Sample collection and running diagnostics (applicant should be skilled in venipuncture) Surgical Prep, Anesthetic monitoring, and Surgical recovery (applicant should be skilled in placing IV Catheters) Taking Radiographs Basic Hospital cleanliness and bio-hazard awareness Filling prescriptions Administering medication (IM/IV/SQ) and giving vaccinations Communication skills with team mates and patient owners Must have a drive to be at work. Wanting to be a work is a healthy mindset and creates a healthy team. Must be skilled using computers and technology as we are a paperless hospital. We have an cloud based electronic medical record, digital radiology, and digital whiteboard. Must have past experience as a Veterinary Technician and having their RVT license is a plus but not required (pay is based off experience & licensure)
