If you are an experienced veterinary technician with leadership skills and a drive for continued education, it is time to join our team. We are seeking a highly qualified RVT/LVT to lead our team as we continue to grow. Cross Creek Animal Hospital is built upon a foundation of care and personalized attention. Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform animal restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays and ultrasounds
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals under anesthesia
  • Provide post-operative care and monitoring to ensure proper recovery
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of veterinary equipment and work areas
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in veterinary technology preferred
  • Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or licensed veterinary technician (LVT) is a plus
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and husbandry practices
  • Proficiency in animal restraint techniques and handling skills
  • Familiarity with common veterinary procedures, such as catheterization and wound care
  • Ability to perform basic laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
