Respond promptly to anesthetic emergencies and implement appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate anesthesia records, controlled-drug logs, and patient charts in accordance with state and DEA regulations and in Vet Radar and other practice management software systems. Assist with pre-operative patient preparation, IV catheter placement, radiographs and surgical prep as needed. Clean, sterilize, and restock anesthesia equipment and supplies between cases to keep the OR running at peak efficiency. Participate in daily case huddles, post-op rounds, and continuous improvement of anesthesia protocols and communicate effectively with the surgeons and rest of the medical support team regarding patient care. Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and compassionate care in a high-paced environment. Role model our Core Values in everything you do.
