Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Veterinary Technician to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about animal health, has a desire to grow and expand their skills, and is eager to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families
Key Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests, including bloodwork, radiology, and urinalysis. Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during surgical procedures. Educate and support pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols Provide compassionate and gentle handling of all patients.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) or able to obtain certification. Excellent technical skills, including phlebotomy, anesthesia monitoring, and patient care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required for motivated new graduates.
