Veterinary Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable. professional, and motivated veterinary technician to fill a full-time position in our growing practice. A solid foundation of veterinary technical skills is required with preference to competencies in surgery and anesthesia: CVT (or equivalent) or 1+years experience is preferred. Exotic experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate. We offer a competitive salary, 401K, health care plan (medical, dental, vision) and PTO (vacation, sick)

Responsibilities:

• Perform various veterinary procedures under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
• Assist in surgical procedures including preparation, monitoring, and post-operative care
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
• Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Qualifications:

• CVT (or equivalent) or 1+plus year experience is preferred
• Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
• Experience in animal handling and care
