Veterinary Technician Pay:

Responsibilities include:

Assisting veterinarians during appointments, procedures, and surgery Monitoring anesthesia and supporting surgical procedures Preparing and maintaining sterile surgical packs and treatment areas Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments accurately Placing IV catheters, intubating patients, and collecting diagnostic samples Running in-house diagnostics including bloodwork, cytology, and radiographs Providing high-quality nursing care including fluid therapy, wound care, and ear cleanings Maintaining accurate medical records Helping keep the hospital clean, organized, and efficient Requirements Minimum 5 years of veterinary technician experience Minimum 3 years of surgical and anesthesia experience required Dentistry experience required Weekend availability required CPR certification is a plus Who You Are Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated Calm under pressure and able to prioritize efficiently Compassionate with both patients and clients A strong team player with a positive attitude Someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality medicine and patient care If you're looking to join a growing hospital where your skills will be valued and your growth supported, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Vets on the Hudson team.
