Veterinary Technician -
The Animal Hospital of Linden Pay Rate:
$24-$30/hour (based on experience) Full-Time The Animal Hospital of Linden is seeking a compassionate, motivated Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. A veterinary technician license is ideal, but not required —we are happy to consider candidates with strong hands-on experience, a positive attitude, and a commitment to excellent patient care. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Technician, your responsibilities may include: Assisting veterinarians with exams, procedures, and treatments Surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op care Collecting samples and performing in-house diagnostics Administering medications, vaccines, and fluid therapy Client communication and education Maintaining hospital cleanliness and organization Ensuring a safe, calm, and fear-free environment for patientsWhat We're Looking For Required:
Previous veterinary experience (1+ year preferred) Strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Compassion for patients and clients during stressful situationsPreferred:
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or eligible for certification Surgery/anesthesia experience Experience with Cornerstone or similar software Compensation & Benefits $23-$28/hour , commensurate with experience Medical, dental, and vision options (if applicable) Employee pet care discounts Paid time off Growth opportunities within the hospital and larger networkSimilar remote jobs
