We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dedicated team. As a Veterinary Technician at Delta Veterinary Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing urgent medical care to pets and supporting our veterinarian. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing facility where your skills and expertise are valued and recognized.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating patients.
- Perform various emergency medical procedures, including but not limited to:
- Venipuncture and catheter placement
- Radiography and diagnostic imaging
- Anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Laboratory testing
- Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to provide excellent patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a veterinary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of animal care and medical procedures.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, urgent care environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Empathy and a passion for helping animals.
- CVT or LVT preferred.
Job Type:
