What You'll Be Doing This is hands-on, patient-focused work that helps build the foundation for a successful veterinary technician career. In this role, you will: Assist veterinarians and credentialed technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients using Fear Free techniques Obtain and accurately record patient histories, vital signs, and observations Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites Support laboratory diagnostics, sample collection, and processing Assist with radiography and imaging procedures Monitor patient comfort and well-being before, during, and after treatments and procedures Administer medications and treatments as permitted by training level and state regulations Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment Collaborate closely with the medical team to provide exceptional patient care Your education and developing skills will be actively supported and utilized here. You're a Strong Fit If You... Hold a Veterinary Technician-in-Training (VTIT) license or are actively enrolled in an accredited Veterinary Technology program Are passionate about learning and advancing your clinical skills Have previous veterinary experience (preferred but not required) Practice calm, compassionate animal handling Communicate effectively with clients and team members Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Take pride in accuracy, organization, and attention to detail Can lift up to 50 lbs Have reliable transportation and dependable attendance Are willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed What You Gain Here This is where curiosity becomes confidence and education becomes expertise.
