Licensed Veterinary Technician

Job description: Full service veterinary hospital seeking a NYS licensed veterinary technician to join our team full or part time. We are a growing hospital in a 7000 sq foot facility. We offer digital x-ray, surgical and therapy laser, in-house labs, ultrasound, and dental equipment. Salary is negotiable depending on experience, skill set, and schedule. Only individuals with current NYS Veterinary Technician license will be considered for this position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Diagnostic imaging (radiography, ultrasonography) Inducing, maintaining and monitoring anesthesia under veterinary supervision Collecting and performing laboratory tests and analysis (phlebotomy, cytology, urine and fecal collection, etc) Preparing and administering medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records and logs Client communication and education

Schedule:
