Minimum of 5 years experience in the field. Senior technicians encouraged to apply. Must have good communication skills and be well organized. Mixed or large animal experience a plus. Lead or Head tech desired. Duties include:

Work along side doctors, techs and vet assistants in daily tasks Assist and monitor in surgeries and dentals Run in house blood work and per surgical screenings See tech appointments, assist with doctor appointments X-rays Client education Fill online Rx If head tech or lead qualified, you would be leading the team including writing protocol.

Schedule:

8 to 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday Flex scheduled Saturday ( half day once a month) No nights

Requirements Proven experience or education in veterinary technology or related field. Strong knowledge of animal physiology, handling techniques, and husbandry practices. Familiarity with veterinary terminology is essential. Ability to perform animal technical skills as required. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members. A compassionate attitude towards animals and their care is essential. Certification as a Veterinary Technician in New York State is required.
