Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) | Madison, OH | $20-28/hr | Sign-On Bonus | Privately Owned | Fresh Leadership! Madison Veterinary Hospital is a busy, privately owned , multi-doctor small animal hospital looking to add a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to our collaborative, well-supported team. Now under refreshed leadership , the hospital is focused on building a supportive, positive workplace where technicians feel respected, utilized, and part of a team that enjoys coming to work each day. Why RVTs Like Working Here Strong tech team : multiple credentialed RVTs plus experienced assistants, CSRs, and supportive management Modern medicine : IDEXX in-house lab, digital & dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical cautery & drill (endoscopy coming soon) Varied days : ~60-65 appointments/day and 3-8 surgeries/day True technician utilization : Rotate through surgery, lab, pharmacy, diagnostics, and patient care Mentorship & onboarding : Shadow-based training with ongoing support Positive team culture : Lunch-and-learns, recognition boards, staff appreciation, and a genuinely collaborative environment What You'll Do Assist with surgery and monitor anesthesia Perform diagnostics, lab work, and pharmacy duties Support doctors during exams and procedures Care for hospitalized patients (including occasional weekend monitoring shifts) Educate clients clearly and compassionately Practice low-stress handling and follow hospital protocols Licensed RVTs and recent graduates preparing for the VTNE are welcome to apply.
