What You'll Be Doing Assisting doctors with appointments and procedures Surgical monitoring and anesthesia support Laboratory work and diagnostics Client education and communication Dental procedures Patient treatments and nursing care Helping create a positive experience for both pets and their humans Occasionally being emotionally adopted by hospitalized patients What We're Looking For Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible for registration) Strong technical and communication skills Someone who thrives in a team environment A positive attitude and sense of humor Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers alike Ability to multitask without losing kindness or attention to detail Bonus points if: You can read doctor handwriting You speak fluent "nervous Chihuahua" You know the difference between a lab sample and someone's lunch in the clinic fridge Schedule Full-time position 4 days per week (7:30 am - 6:00pm) No weekends Because burnout should not be a job requirement Benefits Competitive pay based on experience 50% health insurance coverage 100% paid life insurance policy Paid Time Off CE allowance Optional dental and vision insurance Employee pet care discounts Supportive team culture Snacks sometimes appear mysteriously Why Deer Creek Animal Clinic?
