Pawtown Veterinary Care is a small animal veterinary clinic for dogs and cats. We focus on excellent customer service and are committed to providing the highest quality of care for our patients. We believe the way to achieve the best patient and customer care is to hire, support and nourish a great team. We care about our team and want our staff to love their job. Practice owners (Erin and Lauren) have worked as veterinarians for a collective 30+ years. We are knowledgeable, approachable and like the variety of veterinary medicine- from wellness to urgent care, surgery, dentistry and more.
Position:
We love those who are motivated, organized, respectful, responsible and caring. We are a close-knit team and we value the desire to help each other, work together and learn from each other. We appreciate people who enjoy educating and communicating with clients. Attention to detail is important. Here are some of the things our CVTs do: Room patients for appointments (collect history and vitals, assist the veterinarian with exams, diagnostics, treatments, client education/instructions) Draw blood, take xrays, assist with ultrasound Care for hospitalized patients Anesthesia, assist with surgery Perform Dentals and dental xrays Perform client call backs and prescription refill requests Technician appointments: nail trims, vaccines, etc Sedation procedures: wound care, fractured nails, cheat grass, etcQualifications:
Veterinary Technician License inOregon Required Pay:
$24.00- $27.
