Experienced ER/ICU Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT) - $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Northeast Portland (Hollywood) | Thurs/Fri/Sat + Every Other Wednesday Not every ER is the same. Emergency & ICU Critical Care Surgery Internal Medicine Ophthalmology Our team includes: 5 VTS professionals Experienced CVTs and assistants Dedicated training and mentorship support A collaborative leadership team focused on growth, respect, and psychological safety Why Experienced Technicians Choose NE Portland Advanced ER and ICU caseload Opportunity to utilize and grow advanced technical skills Strong technician utilization and autonomy A culture centered on teamwork, compassion, and mentorship Weekend and overnight shift differentials Skills-based training and professional development Market Trainers with VTS in ECC A team that values laughter, camaraderie, and best intentions even on the hardest days What You'll Do As an ER/ICU CVT, you will: Triage and obtain patient histories in a fast-paced emergency environment Identify unstable patients and initiate life-saving interventions including CPR Place peripheral IV catheters and advanced lines including central lines and PICC lines Monitor and care for critically ill hospitalized patients Perform diagnostics, treatments, and outpatient procedures Collaborate closely with DVMs, specialists, CVTs, assistants, and client service teams Mentor and support fellow technicians and assistants Experience the reward of helping critically ill patients recover and reunite with their families Benefits That Actually Matter $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Evening and Weekend Shift Differentials Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Employer-paid
