Certified Veterinary Technician

Single vet, mixed animal private practice (exotics heavy) looking for experienced Credentialed or license-eligible Vet Tech (licensed in any state or possess vet tech degree with clinical experience). Small family atmosphere. Get your learn on with exotics! Must be proficient in venipuncture, restraint, and handling of at least cats/dogs. Must have solid knowledge base and at least basic skill set of: common lab procedures/protocols, preventative medicine, common illnesses/injuries, pharmacology, nursing, anesthesia/surgery/dentistry, x-rays. Exotics experience preferred.

Candidates must:

have reliable transportation, excellent attendance, excellent communication skills, excellent time management and prioritization skills, learn quickly and keep calm in stressful situations. Be compassionate, honest, friendly, self-motivated, and a team player. Salary based on experience.
