Veterinary Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. Morrisville Vet is a well-established, fully equipped, privately owned small animal hospital, conveniently located in Lower Bucks County, PA. Our location allows for a convenient commute from Philadelphia, PA or Burlington and Mercer Counties in NJ. You must be a compassionate, highly motivated, detail and team oriented individual who values exceptional client service in addition to outstanding patient care. Applicants must possess a broad medial knowledge base and excellent technical skills. You must be proficient in performing: venipuncture, injections (SQ/IM/IV), IV catheter placement, radiology, animal restraint, surgical preparation/assistance, anesthesia/monitoring, reading fecals, and processing in-house laboratory specimens. A minimum of 1 year Veterinary Technician experience is required. Knowledge of IDEXX Cornerstone software is preferred. CVT/LVT accreditation is a plus! Experience with exotic animals and pocket pets is also a plus! You must be able to work some evenings, weekends and holidays.
