Job Description

Piper Companies is seeking a Vet Tech in Philadelphia, PA to support a local research institution. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with potential for extension/conversion.
Responsibilities include:
Support animal care and treatment in a research environment Surgical procedures and post op Preform administrative work and regularly cross collaborate with scientists and external vendors Qualifications include: Experience with anesthesia and pre/post op care Comfort working with rats/mice and large animals Must be able to work independently Understanding of drug dose calculations MUST Have - good verbal, written communication Compensation includes: $25/hr-$27/hr
