In our recently renovated modern facility, we pride ourselves on building lasting bonds with both pets and their owners. We emphasize low-stress handling, client education, and creating a positive, supportive workplace culture. We strive for work-life harmony by promoting a positive work environment, creating time during business hours to complete medical notes and tasks and leaving work on time. Our cloud-based practice software helps to minimize the use of paper medical records and increase efficiency. Our skilled veterinary technicians assist our veterinarians by creating invoices, surgical discharges, itemized estimates, medication labels and performing skills such as cystocentesis, phlebotomy, as well as intravenous catheters. Our clients trust our medical recommendations and are dedicated in supporting our small business.
What We're Looking For:
We're on the hunt for a confident, compassionate, and highly skilled veterinary technician with a passion for client education and a commitment to high-quality patient care. You'll thrive in this role if you're a self-starter, reliable, energetic, and eager to learn and/or teach. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as we value clear, empathetic communication with both our clients and our team.
Responsibilities:
Obtain medical histories from clients during appointments Relay information to veterinarians Handle and restrain canines and felines for treatments Administer vaccines and other injectable medications Phlebotomy, cystocentesis and IV catheter placement Fill prescription medications based on a doctor's recommendations Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment options recommend by a veterinarian Maintain detailed and accurate medical records Work collaboratively with fellow veterinary professionals to provide the best possible care
Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in small animal general practice - including, but not limited to vaccine schedules, pharmacology and client education Interest and enthusiasm for client education Experience with low-stress handling Why Join Us?

Hours:
Part-time and full-time opportunities available 22 - 40 hours depending on part-time or full-time 3-4 weekday shifts and Saturday shift rotation 6 hour shift 10 hour shift Monday to Friday & Saturday rotation Weekend rotation (Saturday 9am-1pm)
