Veterinary Technician Come join the Daniel Island Animal Hospital patient care team! We are a 5-doctor veterinary family practice located in the beautiful, pet-friendly Daniel Island community. Along with delivering excellent medical care and client service, we prioritize work-life balance and a supportive team environment to foster long, fulfilling careers within the veterinary profession and our hospital. We are seeking a Veterinary Technician . Our technicians are involved in all aspects of patient care, including obtaining medical histories, monitoring anesthesia, reading cytologies, placing catheters, taking radiographs, maintaining digital SOAP-style medical records (AVImark), and communicating pertinent information to clients, veterinarians, and other team members. Technicians also play an important role in training and educating our assistants, who help keep the appointment and surgery schedules running smoothly by handling patients, preparing lab samples, and filling prescriptions. This is a full-time position , and the schedule includes one Saturday morning per month . Candidates must be able to arrive by 7:45 AM and stay until 6:00 PM on scheduled weekdays. Full-time is defined as 32+ hours per week.
