Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to animals while assisting veterinarians in various procedures. Your expertise in animal physiology and handling will ensure that our patients receive the best possible treatment and support during their visits. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures. Perform diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian. Monitor animal health and behavior, recording vital signs and other relevant information. Provide comfort and care for animals in the clinic or hospital setting. Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and training techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the clinic, including kennels and treatment areas. Handle a variety of animals with different temperaments, ensuring their safety and well-being. Experience The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of animal physiology, care practices, and handling techniques. Familiarity with X-ray equipment and procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
