Duties Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to promote a healthy environment for animals Feed, water, and monitor pets' health status according to established protocols Assist with dog training activities to encourage good behavior and socialization Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques during grooming, medical procedures, or daily care Support veterinary staff with basic animal care tasks such as administering medications or assisting during examinations Provide pet sitting services by caring for animals in their owners' absence, ensuring their comfort and safety Perform pet grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, and trimming to keep animals clean and comfortable Skills Proven experience with dog handling, training, or pet grooming techniques Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments Knowledge of pet care best practices including feeding, hygiene, and behavioral management Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with large animals Basic understanding of veterinary procedures and medical terminology is a plus Join us in creating a caring environment where animals thrive!
