Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures Monitor and record patient vital signs Clean, dress, and wrap wounds as directed Perform diagnostic tests and collect laboratory samples Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding patient care and treatment plans Clean, disinfect, and sanitize treatment and work areas Support the veterinary team in providing high-quality care to patients Qualifications Current Veterinary Technician license required Genuine love of animals and commitment to their well-being Strong empathy and professionalism when working with clients and patients Excellent clinical and technical veterinary skills Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in a busy environment Strong time-management and organizational abilities Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more when necessary What We're Looking For We are looking for a dedicated veterinary professional who combines technical expertise with compassion and excellent client service.
