Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of animal care and veterinary practices, experience in blood banking is a plus. We are looking for a candidate with general practice experience to join our laboratory team. Responsibilities . Perform routine laboratory tests and blood draws. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Prepare animals for blood donation. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and donations. Monitor animal behavior and health status to identify any changes or concerns. Requirements minimum 2 years experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role within the veterinary field. Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and handling techniques. Proficient in aseptic technique and animal restraint methods. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing exceptional care. Certification or degree in Veterinary Technology is preferred but not mandatory.
