Job Description

We are hiring for our Frisco location DUTIES
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform animal handling and restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples for analysis
  • Perform diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and radiographs
  • Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
  • Provide post-operative care and monitoring to patients
  • Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in veterinary technology preferred
  • Certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or licensed veterinary technician (LVT) is a plus
  • Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, procedures, and medications
  • Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
  • Experienced in laboratory procedures and equipment
  • Ability to perform basic pet grooming tasks such as nail trims and ear cleaning
  • Knowledge of animal catheterization techniques
  • Excellent communication skills with both pet owners and veterinary team members Must be available Monday
  • Saturday.
