Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed or Non-Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic veterinary team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional animal care and support veterinary professionals in delivering high-quality medical services. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and laboratory testing. Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, bathing, grooming, and maintaining cleanliness of kennels and treatment areas. Support dental procedures by understanding dental terminology and assisting with dental cleanings and examinations. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques for various species, including dogs, cats, and equines. Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, ensuring proper aseptic technique and safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical records, including laboratory results, treatment notes, and imaging documentation. Contribute to veterinary critical care by monitoring patient vital signs and assisting with emergency procedures. Support pet care activities such as feeding schedules, medication administration, and pet grooming to enhance animal comfort. Demonstrate proficiency in animal anatomy and physiology to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning. Requirements Valid license or certification as a Veterinary Technician or relevant non-credentialed experience in veterinary medicine. Prior experience is preferred to ensure comfort with animal housing and care routines. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and pet care best practices. Experience with laboratory procedures, X-ray operation, and aseptic techniques is highly desirable. Strong animal handling skills across various species with an emphasis on safety and restraint techniques. Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to veterinary dentistry. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and educating pet owners about animal care needs. Four 10-hour shifts
Part-time:
Three 10-hour shifts, specifically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We are open 24/7, seven days a week, and need you to be able to work overnights and or days, if needed.
