Veterinary Technician/Kennel Legacy Village Veterinary Clinic Plano, TX Job Details Part-time | Full-time Qualifications Companion animal handling Customer communication Filing Veterinary experience No experience needed High school diploma or GED Cleaning Animal restraint Full Job Description A full service small animal veterinary Clinic, in Plano, Texas, is looking for Veterinary Assistant (or Technician). Your duties will include vet tech duties as well as front desk work and kennel tech duties. No experience required- we will train you. We have part time and full time positions available. The shifts will vary including rotating kennel duties on weekends. Our clinic is open Monday-Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday from 8-12. This position requires animal restraint, lifting at least 50lbs and more with assistance, filling prescriptions, kennel duties, monitoring surgeries, front desk responsibilities, answering phones, filing, and lots of cleaning and charting. Our clinic is a small one-doctor practice that treats only cats and dogs. You must be friendly, outgoing, and have strong oral and written communication skills as you will be required to converse with Clients, as well as the Doctor(s) and other employees on staff. The work schedule does change from school semester to semester and flexibility is an advantage. We request all applicants fill out an application in person.
