Job Description

Bella Terra Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our growing, privately owned two-doctor practice. We are a calm, team focused hospital that practices individualized medicine with an emphasis on low stress handling, preventative care, senior pet medicine, surgery, dentistry and client education. We are looking for a technician who is confident, efficient, compassionate and able to independently support doctors throughout the day.
Required Experience :
Candidates must have previous hands-on veterinary technician experience and be comfortable with: Obtaining complete and accurate patient histories Working up exam appointments independently Restraining patients safely and compassionately Drawing blood confidently Placing IV catheters Monitoring anesthesia Assisting with surgery Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs Running in house laboratory diagnostics Taking radiographs Communicating clearly with clients and the medical team What we are looking for : Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Excellent client communication skills Calm, compassionate handling skills Team oriented mindset Reliability, timeliness and professionalism About Our Hospital Bella Terra Animal Hospital is a female owned small animal practice focused on high quality medicine and a calm client/patient experience. We utilize Ceva Calm clinic practices including pheromones, low stress handling, separate dog and cat spaces and individualized patient care. Our doctors have strong interests in arthritis and pain management, preventative care, dermatology and allergies, senior pet medicine and end of life comfort care.
