Experienced Veterinary Technician

Professional veterinary technician committed to providing exceptional care for each pet patient and customer service to pet owners, as well as assisting the veterinary team in their day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate for this position has a background in a fast-paced, high-volume animal hospital or veterinary clinic and enjoys working with animals and clients. Candidate must be passionate about pets, dedicated to providing excellent customer service and will work well with our team.

Responsibilities:

Handle a variety of small animals such as cats, dogs,and small rodents. Assisting the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals. Assist veterinarian in surgery Administering medications and vaccines prescribed by a veterinarian. Taking X-rays. Educating animal owners. Performing an initial exam of patient for signs of illness or injury. Taking vital signs, drawing blood, gathering medical history. Keep detailed records of visits.
