Qualifications:
GED or High School Diploma Two years minimum Veterinary Technician experience Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred Emergency care experience preferred Leadership skills required Basic computer knowledge Excellent client and pet care skills required Knowledge of the veterinary field is required
Skills:
Strong customer service, communication and leadership skills required Ability to direct, guide, and assist their staff with varying personalities and communication skills Ability to show unbiased judgment when managing people and make fair, just recommendations in regard to personnel issues and/or disciplinary action Ability to safely lift objects or pets of at least 50lbs Ability to work with or without direct supervision Restrain and control cats and dogs of any temperament Recognize concerning behaviors in pets Strong organizational skills
Compensation:
Salary range: $26
  • $29/hour Salary commensurate with experience level and credential status
Schedule:
Dayshift (6:30 am
  • 7:00 pm) shifts
