Veterinary Technician

Our Canine / Feline / Avian and Exotic practice is seeking a dedicated and experienced veterinary technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, compassionate, skilled, professional and detail oriented. The ability to multi-task is a plus! Our Veterinary Technicians support the Veterinarian in daily operations and are responsible for taking care of the general upkeep of patients in both a hospital and clinic setting. A successful candidate is experienced in veterinary medicine and will work with team members to make sure animals are healthy and happy while in our care.

Qualifications:

Licensed Veterinary Technician (RVT) preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary clinic Skilled at placing IV catheters, monitoring surgery cases, performing dentals, laboratory skills in all laboratory readings examples: intestinal tests, skin scrapes, skin and ear cytology's, urinalysis, etc.. Strong interest or experience in Avian/Exotics is a plus. Proficiency in Anesthesia required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Show longevity job history of employment at a veterinary practice.

11AM TO 7PM (early AM shift is not available)
