Job Description

Copeland Road Animal Hospital is seeking a mature, responsible and reliable veterinary technician.
Job responsibilities include:
updating patient medical records, assisting doctor with dogs and cats for treatment and surgical procedure, cleaning and maintaining surgical equipment, processing x-rays, performing dental cleanings for dogs and cats, administering vaccines and medications to dogs and cats, blood draw and catheter placement for dogs and cats, understanding of basic veterinary medicine but eager to learn and adapt to protocols and procedures used in this hospital. Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs, communicate confidently and competently to clients/pet owners both written and verbally. Candidate should be team oriented, timely and presentable at all times. Candidate should be compassionate towards animals and people. Candidate should possess the desire to stay until the job is complete and see each pet is properly cared for, this is not an 8-5 job. Full time candidates only.
