We are looking for a Lead Veterinary Technician to support advanced diagnostic imaging procedures in a specialty, outpatient setting. This is focused, high-level anesthesia work where preparation, monitoring, and recovery truly matter. Sage Veterinary Imaging is a specialty, referral-based diagnostic imaging center located in Round Rock, Texas. We partner with veterinary clinics across the region to provide advanced imaging using human-quality technology, including: 3T MRI, 128-slice CT, Digital radiography, Ultrasound, Echocardiography and Digital cytology Why This Role Is Different Anesthesia at Sage is not rushed. What You'll Be Doing (High-Level) You'll work closely with: Board-certified radiologists Associate veterinarians Imaging technologists Operations and technical teams Your focus will be on: Safe anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Patient preparation for imaging procedures Maintaining consistency with anesthesia protocols Supporting imaging workflows across MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound Contributing to a collaborative, teaching-focused environment Rather than overwhelm candidates with a checklist, we walk through day-to-day responsibilities during conversation — because this role is best understood through context. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour.• Rate will be determined based on experience which includes leadership skills and experience, technical expertise, training, relevant licensure, and demonstrated skill proficiency is required. Daytime availability Rotating Saturday Mornings 40hr week Some travel to other imaging centers may be required. Education High school diploma or equivalent - required. Post-secondary education is preferred. Veterinary technician license preferred Experience Veterinary field: 5 years. With a minimum 3 years of patient care experience.
