Job Description

Responsibilities Provide daily animal care, including feeding, watering, health monitoring, and routine husbandry activities. Maintain a clean and sanitary animal facility through cage washing, sterilization, and general housekeeping procedures. Adhere to established safety, compliance, and animal welfare policies and procedures. Work closely with veterinary and research staff, following detailed instructions and established protocols. Support facility operations on a rotating schedule that includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous animal care. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment health screening in accordance with applicable occupational health requirements and institutional policies. Preferred Qualifications Previous laboratory, animal care, or animal handling experience. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
