Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to animals in a veterinary setting. You will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various conditions, ensuring the well-being of our animal patients while also educating pet owners about proper care. Responsibilities Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures. Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples as needed. Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments. Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate medical records for each animal patient. Perform Licensed technician appointments in separate room with clients. Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, nutrition, and wellness practices. Monitor animals' recovery post-surgery or treatment, providing critical care when necessary. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment. Skills The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: Proficient in laboratory procedures and equipment operation. Strong dog handling abilities, ensuring safety for both animals and staff. Experience in animal handling with a focus on comfort and care. Ability to perform X-Ray imaging as required. Understanding of animal husbandry practices to promote health and welfare. Experience in veterinary critical care for emergency situations. Passionate about providing exceptional animal care and support to pet owners.
