Urban Animal operates two urgent care/walk-in locations with appointments plus an appointment-only model for our diverse clientele. LVT Responsibilities:

Drives a high-level focus on client experience and customer service Ensures care is attentive and timely for all patients Assists the veterinarian in medical, surgical and dental procedures; prepares patients for surgery Administers and monitors anesthesia; manages patients during surgery and recovery Takes Tech Appointments (vaccines, fluids, demonstrations etc.) Prepares estimates for procedures and discuss financial commitments with clients supporting hospital financial policies Successful candidates will have: Experience working as a veterinary technician (background in emergency/referral or specialty practices is a plus) Ability to maintain positive and cooperative relationships with team members Stress management skills in a busy, fast-paced team atmosphere Interest in pursuing individualized professional goals

Washington State Veterinary Technician License Compensation & Benefits:

Dependent on experience and job-leveling Medical insurance including vision and dental, a significant paid portion of monthly benefits by Urban Animal Paid Time Off (PTO) - three weeks equal to hours worked per week, based on job classification Observed paid holidays if it falls on your normally scheduled shift (New Year's Day [Jan 1], Memorial Day, Juneteenth [June 19], Independence Day [July 4], Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas [December 25]).
