Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Pet CPR & First Aid Instructor (Contract Position)
Location:
Seattle, WA Are you a credentialed veterinary technician who enjoys teaching and inspiring others? Pet Emergency Education is seeking experienced veterinary professionals to join our team as Pet CPR and First Aid Instructors in Seattle and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, educate pet owners and pet professionals, and earn supplemental income with a flexible schedule. About the Role As an instructor, you will teach our nationally recognized Pet CPR and First Aid certification classes to pet owners, veterinary professionals, pet care providers, and animal enthusiasts. Our curriculum and teaching materials are provided, allowing you to focus on delivering an engaging and informative learning experience. Qualifications Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT, or equivalent) or experienced veterinary professional. Minimum of 3 years of full-time veterinary experience Comfortable presenting to groups and speaking in front of an audience Previous teaching, training, mentoring, or public speaking experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for animal health, emergency preparedness, and education Schedule & Compensation Independent contractor position Flexible scheduling Typically 1-2 classes per month Classes are approximately 3 hours in length Average class size of 8-15 participants Additional earning opportunities available through our referral program Why Join Pet Emergency Education?
