Job Description
Veterinary Technician Amherst Veterinary Hospital Full Time Certified Veterinary Technician Position needed at our small animal veterinary practice. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting veterinarians with appointments, anesthetic and surgical monitoring, client communication, lab work and assisting with radiographs. Come join our team of 2 Veterinarians, 3 Certified Veterinary Technicians, Office Manager, Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists. Our hospital strives to offer the best care for our canine and feline patients. We have a full Idexx in-house lab, digital x ray, surgical laser, therapy laser, dental x ray and computerized medical records. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who will be willing to work in a fast paced environment along with our veterinary team. Must be proficient in computer skills and phone etiquette. CVT License required. Pay based on skill and experience. Hours are variable, with alternating Saturday morning hours and Wednesday hours from 10am - 7pm. Hours per week totaling 40.
