Job Description

We are looking for the right CVT to join our team! Animal Hospital of Oshkosh is a privately owned, small animal practice. We proudly belong to the 12-15% of veterinary practices that hold the AAHA Accreditation designation- voluntarily adhering to the highest standards of patient care. We are also a Feline Friendly Practice , paving the way toward a better patient experience. Our CVTs are an integral part of the team, collaborating with our veterinarians to provide optimum care. Our CVTs practice at the full extent of their training and licensure. Our anesthetic patients are kept safe with a dedicated CVT, hands-on monitoring, presurgical lab work, IV catheters and fluid, local blocks, and multi-modal pain management. Our sick patients are provided with in-house lab work with a slide reviewed by our CVTs. Our triage technician is dedicated to completing diagnostics and monitoring of our hospitalized patients, ensuring that they are receiving the care and attention they deserve. Animal Hospital of Oshkosh prioritizes work-life balance with flexibility of scheduling, no on-call or emergency hours, and minimal Saturday hours. We practice healthy boundaries with limited day admission appointments and minimal emergencies. We respect and are aware of our limitations and never sacrifice quality of medicine. We put our staff and patients before clients and numbers. Due to the vast experience of team-members and veterinarians, we are a great prospect for a new graduate looking for mentorship.
